Information on the processing and protection of personal data

WHO WE ARE

The Higher Learning Group S.r.l. (HLG) and its primary activity as an academy of aesthetic medicine otherwise known as IAPEM - International Academy of Practical aEsthetic Medicine, pays the utmost attention to the security and confidentiality of the personal data of its users. HLG is the Data Controller of all personal data collected on this website. Data is collected by simply registering in those areas to request information.

WHAT PERSONAL DATA MAY BE COLLECTED

The following categories of personal data may be collected:
Contact details - information relating to name, surname, place and date of birth, address, telephone number, mobile number, email address, certified email address (PEC).
Curricular data - information you provide about your professional experience, including training courses, masters and specialization courses.
Other personal data - information you provide about your education, situation and / or professional experience.
Use of the website - information on how you use the site, how you open or forward our communications, including information collected through cookies (here you can find information on our use and management of cookies)

HOW WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA

HLG collects and processes personal data only if an application for admission to the various courses of the academy is submitted to IAPEM.

FOR WHAT PURPOSES MAY YOUR PERSONAL DATA BE USED

A. Establishment and execution of relations between you and HLG/IAPEM and consequent obligations
HLG may process your contact details only for the purpose indicated in the information attached to the application for admission to the school's courses, available in the dedicated section of the website.
Prerequisite for processing: fulfillment of the obligations deriving from your relationship with HLG/IAPEM. The provision of data is mandatory to manage the relationship; failing to do so, HLG/IAPEM will not be able to enroll you for any courses.
b. Provide services reserved for IAPEM students/participants
HLG will process your contact details for purposes related to your relationship with IAPEM.
Prerequisite for processing: fulfillment of the obligations deriving from your relationship with HLG/IAPEM. The provision of data is mandatory to manage the relationship; failing to do so, HLG/IAPEM will not be able to enroll you for any courses.
c. Compliance with legally binding requests to fulfill a legal obligation, regulation or provision of the judicial authority, as well as to defend a right in court
HLG collects your contact details to fulfill a legal obligation and/or to defend its right in court.
Prerequisite for processing: legal obligations, which HLG is obliged to comply with.

HOW PERSONAL DATA IS KEPT SECURE

HLG uses all the security measures necessary to improve the protection and maintenance of the security, integrity and accessibility of personal data.
All personal data is stored on our secure servers (or suitably archived paper copies) and can be accessed and used according to our security standards and policies.
Where users have chosen a password to allow access to the website, applications or services provided by HLG, they will be responsible for the secrecy of this password and for compliance with any other security procedure.

HOW LONG THE INFORMATION IS KEPT

HLG stores personal data only for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected or for any other legitimate related purpose. We limit access to personal data only to those who need to use them for relevant purposes. Personal data that are no longer necessary, or for which there is no longer a legal prerequisite for its conservation, are irreversibly anonymised (and thus can be stored) or destroyed in a secure manner.
The following are the storage times in relation to the different purposes listed above:
1. Fulfillment of the obligations deriving from the relationship with IAPEM: the data will be processed for the entire duration in which the user is registered with IAPEM and in any case no longer than 10 years, in order to verify any pending issues, including accounting documents (e.g. invoices).
2. Operational management and purposes strictly connected to this for accessing the website: the data processed for this purpose may be kept for no later than 10 years.
3. In the event of disputes: in the event for defense or an action or claim against a user or third party, we may keep personal data that is reasonably deem necessary to process for these purposes, for the time in which such claim can be prosecuted.

WITH WHO MAY WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Personal data may be accessed by duly authorized employees, as well as by the external manager appointed and contractually bound.

RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTIES

According to articles 15 and subsequent articles of the Regulation, you have the right to request at any time,
- access to your personal data,
- a copy of the personal data you have provided us (so-called portability),
- the correction of data in our possession,
- the cancellation of any data for which we no longer have any legal basis for processing,
- oppose to processing where required by applicable law,
- the withdrawal of your consent, in the event that the processing is based on consent;
- the limitation of the way in which we process your personal data, within the limits established by the legislation for the protection of personal data.
The exercise of these rights is subject to some exceptions aimed at safeguarding public interest, such as the prevention or identification of crimes. In the event that you exercise any of the aforementioned rights, it will be our responsibility to verify that you are entitled to exercise it and we will reply, as a rule, within one month.
For any complaints or reports on the methods of processing your data, we will make every effort to respond to your concerns. CHANGES

This privacy policy is effective from 24 May 2018. HLG reserves the right to modify or simply update its content, in part or completely, also due to changes in the applicable legislation. HLG will inform you of these changes as soon as they are introduced and they will be binding as soon as they are published on the Site. HLG therefore invites you to regularly visit this section to become aware of the most recent and updated version of the privacy policy in order to always be updated on the data collected and on their use by HLG and the IAPEM Academy.

With reference to the provision ”Identification of simplified procedures for the information and the acquisition of consent for the use of cookies - May 8, 2014” (published in the Official Gazette no. 126 of June 3, 2014), the characteristics and purpose of the installed cookies are specifically and analytically described, indicating also the methods for selecting/deselecting individual cookies.

Introduction:

A cookie is a small text file containing a certain amount of information exchanged between a website and a terminal (usually the browser) and is normally used by the website manager to store the information necessary to improve navigation within the site or to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user in the context of surfing the net. Technical Cookies

We use some technical cookies, necessary to ensure the normal navigation and use of the website and for analytical purposes (so-called analytics cookies, used to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and on how they visit the site).
Our site uses the displayCookieConsent cookie with an expiration of 12 months.
This type of cookie is used to keep track of the user's consent and possibly not repeat the short information on cookies on future pages or possibly on the user's second visit.

Third Party Cookies

The social network widgets are those particular ”buttons” or ”blocks” on the site that depict the icons of social networks (for example, Facebook and Twitter) and allow users who are browsing, to interact directly with the social platforms with a ”click”. Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (”Google”). Google uses the Personal Data collected for the purpose of tracking and examining the use of this Application, compiling reports and sharing them with other services developed by Google.

The cookies in question are:

They enable the operation of Google Analytics and help website operators to analyze visitor information such as browser usage, number of visitors and other data that help improve the usability of content.
The information generated will be transmitted and stored on Google's servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of tracking and examining the use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet use. Google can also transfer this information to third parties where this is required by law. Google will not associate the visitor's IP address with any other data held by Google.
The information collected is accessible only by the site administrators (in aggregate and anonymous form) and by Google, which does not store, communicate or disclose this data to third parties.
The __utma cookie lasts for 2 years. The other cookies are temporary: 30 minutes (__utmb), at the end of the browsing session (__utmc), instantaneous (__utmv), 10 minutes (__utmt) and six months (__utmz). They are not necessary cookies.

How to select/deselect (read ”enable or disable”) third party cookies

With reference to point 4.2 ”The extended information” of the document ”Identification of simplified procedures for the information and the acquisition of consent for the use of cookies - May 8, 2014”, we point out that the user/reader is guaranteed the possibility of expressing one's options regarding the use of cookies, through the services made available by third parties and through the web browser settings.
